I learned about The DivaCup when at camp my counselor advocated it. During the backpacking trips I went on with that camp, when LNT principles forced me to bag and carry out all of my sanitary items, I realized how wasteful tampons and pads are. The ridiculous amount of paper and plastic waste that women produce each year really bothered me. I decided to go out and invest in a DivaCup. Although at first insertion was a bit awkward, after just 2 or 3 days I was totally used to it and loved not having to run to the bathroom every few hours. I love this product and am so proud to own a DivaCup. Every time "that time of the month" rolls around I know that I don't have to run to the drug store and buy new tampons and pads (that would later end up in a landfill). I just have to use this great product and life goes on. The Diva Cup has made life so much easier. Thanks for such a good menstrual solution. |
