First for Women Article - September 14, 2009
We are delighted to be included in the First for Women article on menstrual cups, September 14, 2009 issue! To clarify a few points made in the article:
The DivaCup should only be used “to collect menstrual flow” and, as government regulations indicate, not at any other time of the month, or for any other reason. Because of the intimate, personal nature of the product, we suggest replacing the cup each year. We do not indicate, or suggest, a ten year usage.
Depending on one’s flow, the cup can be worn for up to 12 hours at a time, removed, washed and then inserted again. This makes The DivaCup more convenient and reliable than tampons or pads which need to be changed more often.
Please trim the stem only after you have used The DivaCup as per instructions.
Please carefully read this website, our FAQs and the User Guide included in the package to familiarize yourself with all aspects of this revolutionary product!
